Eryn and Dale’s Star Wars Theme NJ Wedding WOW!
That’s it, just WOW. When we, at Limelight Entertainment, ask ourselves where we would begin to describe Eryn and Dale’s wedding, all that comes to mind is WOWY WOW!! Our NJ DJs loved every single moment of this Star Wars Themed NJ Wedding.
This wonderfully executed Star Wars Theme Wedding was dressed to impress and perfectly unique. Eryn and Dale’s ceremony started out with a processional of Storm Troopers led down the aisle by The Dark Lord of the Sith to the “Imperial March” by John Williams. The bride, Eryn, is part of a theatre group and so her bridal party consisted of the 4 Ghostbusters and of course Slimer… naturally!!
They concluded the ceremony with a kiss and a #selfie, of course, and proceeded to cocktail hour. A delicious array of food was served and drinks were iced while Limelight Entertainment’s NJ Wedding Djs took care of music in the background. The couple chose songs from some of their favorite blockbuster’s soundtracks to be played during cocktail hour.
The guests entered the ballroom for the reception and what they saw were washes of purple projected onto the walls with Limelight’s wireless uplighting. Tables were set in deep purples and blues and the intelligent lighting projected a galaxy light show on the dance floor. Their cake and table runners looked like they shot right out of outer space, soaked with twinkling stars and topped with nods to Dr. Who.
Song, dance, and improv were what this reception was all about! The guests were sassy, classy, and full of fun and energy! We had so much fun keeping this party going with the bride and groom’s requests for classics through and through. “Time Warp” was show stopping, while the bride and MOH doing “Apache” was a classic hit, and the Conga line to “Hot Hot Hot” gave everyone another use for their dinner napkins! This wedding was FUN FUN FUN! The bride even did the tango with Slimer! Just awesome! And don’t forget the washes of strobed color from the uplights that added to the energy of the party and pictures!!
