Where do I begin!? I mean do you know when you just click with someone or something and you get good vibes and you know its going to be amazing! That is exactly how I felt about Cait and Sean when we met on their engagement session. I knew that Caitlin and Sean’s wedding at the Breaker’s in Spring Lake, NJ would be amazing. And it was!!
Cait and her VIPs started the day at the Breakers. When I arrived for bridal prep Cait was so relaxed and all smiles. Nothing could phase this bride because she was about to marry the man of her dreams.
I began shooting bridal details in the cocktail room on the first floor of the Breakers. The walls are painted a pretty bridal blue which went perfectly with all of Cait’s details and her gorgeous bouquets by Couture Events. When I asked if she would mind getting in her dress in this room, she was all for it! And I am so happy she did because her wedding pictures came out gorgeous!
We were running ahead of schedule so we took some photos on the beach and then we were off to the church to get Cait married! We arrived at the Salvation Army Corps in Asbury Park, which I later learned was Sean’s grandparent’s church. His family has been a part of the Salvation Army Corps for generations.
After a beautiful ceremony the newlyweds exited the church to about 15 confetti cannons (filled with biodegradable confetti). It was the perfect way to enter the world as the New Mr. & Mrs. Harvey.
We then headed to the Asbury Park Boardwalk to take portraits. This bridal party was so awesome! I gave them some direction and they just knew what to do. I loved it! We had so much fun inside Convention Hall and against the murals on the boardwalk.
From there, it was party time!! Chris Marino of Limelight Entertainment was the DJ and they had one of our Limelight Entertainment Photo Booths to capture all of the silliness. Chris had this party rockin all night! It was so awesome. I could barely find a place to stand on the dance floor because it was so packed!! One of the best moments was when Chris played Shout and the entire dance floor was screaming and shouting and getting down.
Everyone had a blast in the Photo Booth too! I snuck a few snaps of them in the booth too that you can see below.
We had the best time at Cait and Sean’s wedding with them AND with all of their family and friends. I felt totally comfortable getting in the middle of the dance floor and getting down with all of them. Everyone was so sweet and so fun. A huge congrats to Cait and Sean and THANK YOU for choosing us to be there for your big day!
