Engagement Photography at Monmouth University

So funny story, Katie and Frank kind of met accidentally. A mutual friend had offered to set them up, but they both turned down the date. So call it fate but they ended up working in the same registration tent at an American Cancer Society event a few months later and flirted all day. They eventually exchanged numbers but it wasn’t until after all of this that Katie realized Frank was the blind date she never went on. After a story like this how could you not believe in fate?

We had the best time walking around Monmouth University and inside Wilson Hall. It is such a beautiful campus and there are gorgeous nooks and crannies everywhere!! MU is Frank’s alma mater, and a really special place for him so it was a must to shoot there. Katie also mentioned that if Frank hadn’t gone to Monmouth, she wouldn’t have met some of her best friends and bridesmaids!

After Monmouth, we finished the session on the beach in Long Branch where we saw the most spectacular sunset. It was a very warm day so the beach breeze was perfect.

Limelight Entertainment is very excited for Katie and Frank’s wedding next December at the Versailles Ballroom!! I, myself, will be photographing every special moment and Chris Marino will be DJing the dance party, I mean reception 😉 Katie and Frank love to host get togethers, and this is the ultimate get together! They can’t wait to eat, drink, and be merry with the people they love the most. And we cannot wait to be a part of it all!!

Chris and I are looking forward to your special day!!

  • Frank and I enjoy spending time together over a meal. We love trying out new restaurants, or perfecting recipes at home. We also like watching new TV shows together, hanging out with our friends and family, and spoiling with our two cats.

  • Frank invited some of our closest friends over to celebrate my birthday and make gnocchi from scratch (something his great grandmother taught him to do). We made the dough in the morning, just the two of us. So I was busy playing hostess when he called me to start rolling out the dough in the kitchen. I realized everyone was staring at me, and that Marry Me? was written in flour on the table. When I looked back at Frank I realized he was down on one knee with a ring in his hand.

  • There are days when we decide to get dressed up really nicely and go out. And there are days when we’re both very content in jeans and a t-shirt. So for our photos, we wanted outfits that reflected both sides of us.

We Can't Wait to Hear From You.
