Kim + Eric’s Beauty and the Beast Themed Winter Wedding

Beauty and the Beast Themed Winter Wedding

Kim and Eric’s wedding was their own magical version of Beauty and the Beast. The couple drew inspiration from the Disney film and created their own day of love, beauty, and fun. The Beauty and the Beast theme carried on throughout the wedding with a color scheme of navy, red, and splashes of champagne gold.

Kim looked gorgeous wearing a David Tutera ballroom gown that resembled a Disney princess that she paired with sparkly navy glittered Kate Spade Wedding Sneakers. Her cascade of red roses and white orchids were the perfect match for this magical wedding look. The bridesmaids wore navy blue floor-length high neck laced dresses and clutched white roses. Eric looked handsome in a navy blue Vera Wang tuxedo that tied in nicely with the theme. The groomsmen wore charcoal gray tuxedos with navy blue bowties.

Kim and Eric braved the cold for a romantic first look at the historical central railroad of the New Jersey Terminal. What a moment to capture! Even with facing the chilly weather, Kim and Eric’s magical love warmed the hearts of everyone around them. The ceremony took place at the Maritime Parc. The aisle was lined with red and white rose petals which tied in nicely with the Beauty and the Beast theme. During the ceremony both families lit a candle, while Kim and Eric lit their unity candle. Even though the couple lit a unity candle, they took another step with a tree planting ceremony, where the couple mixed soil together and watered their tree. This meaningful ceremony resembled their unity and growth as one and the magical love was evident while these ceremonies were performed.

The reception details were extraordinary! Kim and Eric’s inspiration of Beauty and the Beast were expressed throughout. Red rose petals sprinkled the tables with navy blue table cloths. Some of the tables had gold candelabras with roses, while the other tables had a Beauty and the Beast enchanted rose in a glass dome. Sparkling on the sweetheart table was a beautiful glass Beauty and the Beast enchanted rose in a glass dome. What a spectacular scene this couple created for their magical night!

Kim and Eric’s wedding cake was white fondant with navy blue stripes and red roses. On top of the cake sat a gold cake topper of a bride and groom kissing along the New York City skyline, which linked the outside view from the wrap around windows in the ballroom of the NYC skyline itself. Hurricane Productions had everyone dancing on the dance floor all night. The couple and their guests had so much fun!

Pausing to capture the night they never want to forget, we went down to the end of Liberty State Park for an epic nighttime photo. Kim and Eric created their own fairytale and it’s truly a magical time to remember!
