Miyako + Nathan's Engagement Photography at Deep Cut Gardens

Miyako and Nathan’s engagement photography was at Deep Cut Gardens. The overcast day let out slight sunshine through the trees as we photographed this sweet couple. Miyako and Nathan are two of the sweetest individuals. This couple is so excited for their January wedding, ready to celebrate with friends and family. What they are most excited about for their wedding day is eating yummy foods and dancing to fun music. They met at a friends birthday party and just knew they were made for one another.

Miyako looked absolutely stunning! She wore a fun colorful aztec print dress that matched well with her tan pumps. She complimented the look with gorgeous but subtle makeup and wore her hair down. Even though it drizzled lightly during their session, Miyako’s hair stayed perfect! Nathan complimented the aztec dress she wore with a baby blue button down dress shirt, tan pants, and white sneakers. Such a stunning couple! How cute did they look?!

Walking around Deep Cut Gardens, Miyako and Nathan could not stop their cuteness with one another. Such naturals at expressing their feelings for each other, the evidence of their love is prominent and strong. What a fun walk we had through the gardens and capturing all the beautiful scenery around them. Miyako and Nathan are animal lovers. They were excited seeing all the little bunnies and other animals that roamed around the gardens. Miyako had a fun time naming all the peppers that were growing in the garden, she knew all their names!

The garden was so cute and reminded me of the movie Peter Rabbit. There was even a sign on the gate that read, “Please keep closed to keep the bunnies out”. We also noticed a little “Garden Gnome checklist in the mailbox at the entrance. Miyako and Nathan had fun spotting all of the gnomes while we walked around taking photos.

Talking about the wedding day, they both are so excited to unite their love.

How did Nathan Propose?

“It was December. Nathan wanted to check out places to go fishing in Sandy Hook. The beaches were closed, so we went to a pier to look around and as we went to turn to walk back to the car he got down on one knee…..”

and Miyako said YES! The couple love to travel together. Even just driving to the shore or somewhere they have never been for a day. They love to spend time together and they enjoy each other’s company. So, it was so them and so perfect when Nathan proposed to Miyako on one of their mini adventures.

Miyako and Nathan smiled and laughed the entire session. True happiness spread across their faces as they gushed with excitement talking about the wedding day.
