Rebecca + George's Park and Beach Engagement Photography at Spring Lake

Rebecca and George’s engagement photography took place at Spring Lake. The terrible morning storm left beautiful colorful skies for their evening engagement session. Rebecca and George greeted us with friendly smiles and warm chatter. They are both so cute and so sweet! The couple is so excited for their April 2019 wedding, ready to celebrate and share their love with friends and family. Rebecca said, “We find we are old souls in this and truly believe we are a perfect balance for one another.” The couple glowed when speaking about their wedding day and the love they share with each other. It was so obvious with them, their love was so evident. They joked around and laughed the entire time.

How did you and your fiancé meet?

“We met at a family function. My cousin invited George as she had worked with him and the rest was history.”

They both looked so nice! “We clean up well” the couple joked. Rebecca wore a super cute flowy floral romper and tan scrappy wedges. George complimented her look with a button down dress shirt. Even though it was extremely humid, the two kept it cool!

How did your fiancé propose?

“George took me to an apple orchard and found an isolated spot. While I had my back turned he got down on a knee and called my name. When I turned around the man of my dreams was asking me to be his, forever.”

AW! How precious was that moment. Walking around Spring Lake we found many locations that were just perfect. The sun hit the right spots between trees and we captured such beautiful moments. Rebecca and George could not stop their cuteness with one another! They were such naturals behind the camera.

Rebecca and George are so sweet with one another, my heart filled with awe and love watching these two interact. They love to spend time together. Whether it is going on spontaneous adventures or getting cozy on the couch to a movie – they love to have fun and be together. True happiness and smiles spread across their faces as we photographed in the different locations. We wrapped up the photography in the park and headed to the beach! Rebecca and George fell in love with the environment and atmosphere the beach gave, so they wanted to have a few quick photographs in the sand. Quick wardrobe change in the cars, the two lovebirds swapped their dressy looks for more laidback casual vibes. The ocean breeze felt incredible! Salty air filled our lungs as we headed to the beach. Rebecca gave us her elegant engagement ring to photograph. George shared a story with us explaining how it was a family heirloom, Rebecca’s mother’s ring!! How sentimental!? The tides were pretty high and we had to act fast before we got all wet…. too late! We ended up getting pretty soaked!! Giggles and laughs filled the ocean air. There was even a moment when George wrote out their names and date in the sand.
