Sarah + Eric’s Wedding at The Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank, NJ

Sarah and Eric’s wedding at The Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank, NJ was absolutely gorgeous. This stunning venue has big beautiful windows that allow for natural light to come in. The large windows overlook the Navesink River from all points of view. Sarah and Eric met at Columbia University in 2014 while both completing their Master’s in Social Work. They are both passionate about social justice and politics. They enjoy going to rallies, protests, and advocacy/community organizing events together. They have a shared passion for traveling, hiking, and experiencing new cultures, foods, and places. These two share such a unique bond that it was an absolute honor to have the Limelight team there to capture the love on their special day!

With a big smile on her face Sarah greeted us as we arrived to photograph her and Eric’s special day. Elizabeth Jones of The Updo Guru did a fantastic job with Sarah’s hair and makeup. Her luscious brown locks were styled in waves over her shoulders with a diamond beaded head piece. For her makeup she chose a light smokey eye with a hot pink lip. She looked absolutely stunning!! Her bright pink lip added a pop of color and completed her overall look. Sarah’s five bridesmaids had on lipstick in different shades of pink. Each girl’s makeup looked unique and very natural. Speaking of pops of color… Anna’s Flowers & Gifts designed an array of the most beautiful pink florals for Sarah and Eric’s wedding. The details from this wedding were to die for! Katie Zimpel of Minted designed their wedding invitations. Sarah and Eric’s invites were very adorable. On the center of the invitation are little gray skeletons holding hands with a red and pink heart inside their ribcages. “Until death do us part…” the stunning details of the invitations were incredible; even the envelope had paper lace detailing and a black bow to top it off. Time to get Sarah into her Oleg Cassini wedding dress!! She added pearl jewelry from Vintage Finds in New York City to complement her lacey  fitted wedding dress. Her stunning pink and gold engagement ring glistened as she fiddled with it on her finger. Looking beautiful as ever, Sarah was ready to see her soon-to-be husband for the first time that day.

Sarah’s girls wore black floor length dresses that added a classic look to the overall wedding party and colorful florals. Eric’s five groomsmen wore black tuxedos, black matching dress shoes, and a hot pink pocket square to match the florals. Everyone looked so handsome. Eric stood facing the opposite direction waiting to turn around to see his bride-to-be. Wearing his Men’s Wearhouse gray tuxedo, paisley black tie, and hot pink pocket square he looked dapper and ready to begin the next chapter of his life. Sarah and Eric chose to have a first look, because they wanted that special moment between the two of them before the hustle of the rest of the day began. Eric turned around and his jaw dropped. WOW! He could not stop smiling at Sarah. They embraced and shared hugs and kisses, then he took a step back to admire all of Sarah. What a beautiful moment.

The ceremony was sweet. With loved ones gathered Nancy Reamy wed the couple as they shared their first kiss as husband and wife. After some cheering, happy crying, and lots of hugs… it was time to party! Phil Zanardi of Limelight Entertainment had everyone off their feet the entire night! Everyone had so much fun dancing the night away and snacking on delicious treats from Ye Olde Pie Shoppe. So lets take a minute to talk about their UNIQUE and STUNNING wedding cake…. This beautiful wedding cake was designed with such flavor. There was black ribbon around three tiers of white cake. “Until death do us part…” the adorable skeletons were back at it again at the top of Sarah and Eric’s wedding cake. This time the skeletons were in spiderweb filled rocking chairs dressed in wedding attire. HOW CUTE!!! We were obsessed with their details throughout the wedding and their cake. The dancing continued all through the night, with love and laughs filling the air  – Sarah and Eric’s loved ones danced around The Molly Pitcher Inn‘s reception space in a fun conga line to end the night.

Cheers to a blissful marriage Sarah and Eric!! Thank you so much for choosing Limelight Entertainment for your special day. We had a wonderful time photographing and celebrating with you and all your guests.
