We absolutely love this venue! South Gate Manor of Freehold, NJ is amazing in so many different ways I don’t even know where to begin. The professionalism and hospitality of the South Gate staff in combination with the amazing food and beautiful ballroom absolutely make this one of NJ’s top wedding venues.
We recently had the honor of DJ’ing Amanda and Chris’ wedding and were so happy to be a part of their special day. Amongst our team of professionals Frankie and Chris were the DJ and Event Host signed on to this rocking wedding and they had a blast!
The reception started off with an explosive introduction for the parents of the bride. Prior to the wedding Amanda’s father had reached out to me to plan a fun exciting introduction which involved us mimicking a Saturday Night Live skit. He and his wife were introduced to a blues brothers song so the skit and the song made a perfect combination . It was energetic, funny and the perfect way to kick off the wedding reception.
After introductions the bride and groom took to the center of the dance floor for their first dance which was absolutely a beautiful moment but they had some tricks up their sleeves too! Halfway into their first dance they surprised their guests and busted into “The Carlton Dance.” Yep that’s right, our DJ transitioned right into Jump On It by The Sugar Hill Gang and the party began. The guests loved it!
Amanda and Chris were such a cool couple to work with. They were a lot of fun and our team had a great time at their wedding.
