Photo Locations at the English Manor
The English Manor is one of those New Jersey wedding venues that gives you plenty of variety without making your wedding day feel like one long photo session. From the classic architecture of the manor to the gardens, trees, and newly updated ceremony space, there are beautiful backdrops throughout the property that allow us to create a full gallery while keeping the day moving naturally.
The front of the manor is one of our favorite locations for wedding party photos, family groupings, and portraits of the two of you. The horseshoe driveway, landscaping, and architecture give this part of the property a timeless feel, while the surrounding greenery and mature trees add depth and color to your photos.
One of the things we love about photographing weddings at The English Manor is how many different looks we can create within a relatively small area. That means less time traveling from one photo location to another and more time actually enjoying your wedding day.
Just off the manor, the white cottage and surrounding lawn offer another beautiful setting for portraits. Depending on the time of day, sunlight filters through the trees and can create a soft glow that feels completely different from the more classic portraits taken in front of the manor.
Inside, the ballroom gives us another option for beautiful wedding photography, especially when weather or timing brings us indoors. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the gardens and fill the room with natural light, while the Swarovski crystal chandeliers, marble floors, and custom ceiling lighting create an elegant backdrop for portraits, wedding party photos, and family formals.
The outdoor ceremony space at The English Manor has also been beautifully updated. The new ceremony arbor creates a romantic focal point surrounded by the property’s greenery and can be customized to complement the florals, colors, and overall design of each wedding.
Beyond being a beautiful place to exchange vows, this area gives us another setting for portraits throughout the day. The nearby wooden bridge, trees, landscaping, and open space allow us to create everything from quiet first-look moments to wedding party photos and relaxed newlywed portraits without having to leave the property.
For us, great wedding photography at The English Manor isn’t about trying to stop at every possible photo location. It’s about knowing the property well enough to choose the right locations, light, and timing for your wedding.
That allows us to give you plenty of variety while still making sure you have time to be present, celebrate with the people you love, and actually experience your day.
If you’re planning a wedding at The English Manor, our goal is to create photographs that feel natural to you, capture the beauty of the venue, and preserve what the day actually felt like.
