Emma + Joe’s Winter Christmas Wedding at the Versailles Ballroom

Emma + Joe’s Christmas wedding was a DREAM! Every little thing about this wedding was amazing. The day started out like most weddings with Emma and Joe getting ready with their team of close friends and family. From the moment I walked in the door Emma was all smiles. She was so calm and relaxed as she enjoyed her morning/afternoon of getting ready with her girls. Emma was so chill she was even helping her girls do their makeup and added sparkle to a few bridesmaids for a finishing touch.

We had Emma and Joe do their bridal party photos and some family photos before heading to the church since we were limited on time between the ceremony and cocktail hour. It ended up working out perfectly. I snapped photos of her and her bridesmaids and we wrapped them up just in time for the sun to go down.

Winter weddings need some additional timeline attention since we lose the sun at basically 4pm. If you are planning a winter wedding be sure to email me so we can discuss the best timeline for your day.

Once photos were a wrap we all headed to the church to get Emma and Joe married. Joe was so sweet as he saw his bride walking down the aisle. He began to tear up and it was so hard not to do the same myself!! Emma had the biggest smile as she walked up to her groom and took her place beside him at the altar.

I may mention Emma’s smile a few more times in this blog because frankly this girl smiled all day long. She smiled so much it was infectious and I don’t know how her cheeks didn’t hurt her. It was great!! I loved seeing the pure joy on her face.

After their wedding ceremony we stopped in downtown Belmar for some portraits of the entire bridal party. We had so much fun with all of the Christmas lights they had strung up in the 9th ave plaza. We stayed to take some romantic portraits of Emma and Joe before hopping on The E Street Shuttle and heading over to the Versailles for the party!!

DJ Chris Marino got the party rockin right away with the bridal party introductions. Emma and Joe’s bridal party had some killer intros planned out! And Emma and Joe walked into their wedding reception with hands in the air ready to get down! They were so much fun!!

Emma and Joe enhanced their wedding reception with intelligent lighting, a photo booth, and a black light show. It was the perfect combination of enhancements to set the stage for their wedding celebration. The intelligent lighting lit up the dance floor and brought everyone out to dance while the photo booth had guests acting silly and taking fun photos. They ended the night with a black light party and everyone was dancing with their hands in the air and their gloves lit up neon purple.

Emma and Joe had such a fun and amazing wedding. We are so happy they chose us to help them celebrate the biggest day of their lives!!
