Wedding Venues

So you’re newly engaged and getting ready to begin your wedding planning. Congratulations, this is such an exciting time! Once the initial craziness settles and you prioritize what’s most important to you, you can start searching for your perfect team of vendors. And in our experience of speaking with couples, that process usually begins with locking in your dream wedding venue.

Choosing the right venue is essential because it plays a crucial role in creating the ambiance for the wedding ceremony and reception. Your venue is the backdrop against which all other wedding elements are set, and can significantly influence the overall tone and feel of the event. The right venue can bring together all the elements that make up the perfect wedding, from decor and lighting to food and drink, entertainment, and more. It can also help ensure that the wedding flows smoothly and that guests are comfortable and happy throughout the day.

With so many events under our belt over the past decade, we’ve had the privilege of working with some fantastic wedding venues all across the state. These venues are super attentive to the couples and their guests, ensuring they have everything they need for their wedding. They communicate well with all vendors, review timelines with everyone, and provide top-notch service. Not to mention the food, drinks, and settings are incredible.

With that being said, here are some of our top Wedding Venues in New Jersey.

The Mill Lakeside Manor

Simply put, The Mill in Spring Lake, NJ is the perfect wedding venue. This private estate offers a stunning lakeside garden to hold outdoor ceremonies, as well as an indoor ceremony option as well. Their amazing cocktail hour is held downstairs with a full bar, fireplace room, and pool table. How cool! I mean, where else do you get to play pool at cocktail hour? After cocktail hour, guests head upstairs to an outstanding ballroom, which includes a second-floor balcony with lakeside views. During the reception, our couples and their wedding party enter through sliding mirrored doors and down the Juliette balcony to all their friends and family making for an impactful introduction. The ballroom is equipped with a built-in sound system that allows for peak volume on the dancefloor and lower volumes the dining areas, which is excellent for guests’ conversations at their seats. The Mill’s ballroom also includes unique ceiling lighting that will be controlled the entire night, adding to the room’s ambiance.

Richard, the head Maitre’D, is one of the business’s best. Sue and Racquel, the main Coordinators, handle every detail for you, and Jackie, the GM, is always on-site, which is not the case at every wedding venue. Their wait staff presents all courses in uniform, and it’s really cool to watch. And when they’re not serving, they’re normally vibing and dancing with the music which we love to see as DJs.

Crystal Point Yacht Club

The ultimate Jersey Shore wedding venue, Crystal Point offers waterside views and is located just a few minutes from the beach. Similar to the Mill, Crystal Point offers an outdoor garden for ceremony, with a patio overlooking the water. Access to the marina right behind the property gives couples a ton of on-site photo locations, especially during the Summer. The food is incredible, and you may not find a better Cocktail Hour than Crystal Point’s. The variety of stations, as well as the fresh seafood, is insane! Another cool thing about Crystal Point is the newly renovated Groomsmen Suite, the perfect “man cave” to get ready for the big day.

The ballroom has a ton of natural light, has a newly updated lighting system with both ceiling lights as well as intelligent lights, and includes one of the nicest bars we’ve seen in a reception space. The sound system actually makes you feel like you’re in a nightclub, and as the GM Kyle describes it, “We want it to sound like D’Jais in here”. Kyle and the rest of the staff are a pleasure to work with from the start of the day until the last song of the night. A few feet away, the Crystal Point Inn allows couples overnight accommodations for their guests.

The Hamilton Manor

Hamilton Manor, located in Hamilton, NJ, is the wedding venue we work with the most, which gives couples so many different aesthetics. Each one of the spaces on the property has a different vibe. The ceremony can be held in the garden or the Barn, which is perfect for someone looking for a rustic setting. Cocktail Hour is held in the Cellar Lounge, which has such a cool speakeasy vibe to it. The reception is held in their Grand Ballroom, which features the building’s original wood floors that they re-finish every week. Couples can expect a gorgeous fireplace as the backdrop for their sweetheart table, a balcony-style grand entrance, and one of the best lighting systems around.

Joe and Andre, the two owners, are always on-site and constantly upgrading the venue, which you love to see. The Maitre’D Lloyd and the entire event staff are always a pleasure to work with and always accommodate whatever requests we have for them.

Side note: There are many awesome on-site photo locations that you can check out here.

The English Manor

This private garden estate in Ocean Township is one of our homes away from home. The cobblestone driveway and landscaping make the property’s front a perfect photo location. It offers a gorgeous garden ceremony space with a creek and an outdoor patio option for Cocktail Hour (the assorted mac and cheese station is a must-try). Brand-new flooring and the built-in bar are the staples of the ballroom, which is also equipped with an elevated sound system and ceiling lighting. We’ve mentioned it with a few of the wedding venues already, but the bar being in the reception space is a huge help with keeping a crowded dance floor.

The Park Chateau

The grounds at Park Chateau are absolutely stunning. Located halfway between NYC and Philadelphia in East Brunswick, NJ, this venue offers a setting like no other for your wedding. Options for the ceremony include a private garden and their very own chapel. This church-like structure is beautifully decorated and equipped with built-in sound, so all your guests can hear the service perfectly. It’ll be hard to find a cocktail hour that tops Park Chateau. This part of the evening is held in a massive space with two different rooms, top-notch service, and the ability to open up into an indoor/outdoor space when the weather calls for it.

Before entering into reception, guests will walk through a giant grand foyer, with a massive staircase leading up to the bridal suites. The main ballroom offers a ton of natural light and beautiful chandeliers throughout. The on-site staff is always on top of their game and very polite. Overnight accommodations are also available for guests, as the Park Chateau is just a few feet away from the Chateau Grande Hotel.
