Sarah and Alex tied the knot at The Mill Lakeside Manor. This gorgeous venue has all the fantastic locations for picture-perfect moments. And don’t forget the (famous) swans of their lake! They are so friendly and enjoy being in wedding portraits too.
We started our day at Spa Bella Salon and Boutique in Point Pleasant, where Sarah and her girls were getting their hair and makeup done. Juliana Nase had Sarah’s hair pulled back in a low messy bun with a single braid tied behind. Spa Bella Salon had each girl looking stunning with a natural makeup look. Sarah’s Castle Couture dress was a fitted lace bodice and plunging neckline that fit her very nicely. Her five bridesmaids wore floor-length shades of blue dresses, each with a unique fit. They all had a different hair style that complimented their own personalities. The florals by Bouquets 2 Remember were full of color and flowers that complemented the color scheme of the day.
Alex wore a gray suit from Men’s Wearhouse with a baby blue tie. His five groomsmen and his son (his best man) wore matching gray suits with baby blue bowties. Sarah and Alex decided on a “no-look” first-look, and we happened to find the perfect corner at The Mill Lakeside Manor to make this happen. The soon-to-be Mrs. and Mr. held hands during this private moment with each other. It was a sweet and intimate moment and allowed us to capture such a unique way to “be together” prior to the ceremony.
Their ceremony was perfect. It included a sand ceremony in which they had Alex’s son pour sand alongside them to symbolize the uniting of their family. The gardens at The Mill Lakeside Manor are absolutely breathtaking!! We photographed Sarah and Alex’s just married photographs in the gardens and on the dock overlooking the serene lake. It was such a gorgeous day!! After the ceremony, of course, it was time to party! Limelight Entertainment played the best party music as the couple and their loved ones danced the night away.
