Miyako + Nathan’s Beautiful Olde Mill Inn Wedding in Basking Ridge

Miyako and Nathan’s beautiful Olde Mill Inn wedding in Basking Ridge was filled with warm hugs and happy smiles. Their wedding took place on January 26th – my first 2019 wedding!! Miyako and Nathan’s engagement session at Deep Cut Gardens was incredible… so we were very excited to photograph this sweet couple on their wedding day! The day of their engagement session they gushed about today and now it was finally here!

Arriving at bride prep, Miyako greeted us with warm hugs. WOW! She already looked so stunning! Miayko was super excited and ready to be wed to her groom. She had her hair done by Lisa Singer of T & Friends Salon, who created the perfect half up, half down, updo with small glistening diamonds pinned in her hair. STUNNING! Her girls were getting their hair and makeup done, while Miayko played around with her cute little niece, who just happened to be her flower girl. Photographing Miyako’s details was so much fun! Miyako’s gorgeous detailed floral veil was actually her mother’s veil from her wedding day that she had passed down to Miyako to wear. The veil had beautiful lace detailing and was absolutely stunning. It was truly a sweet and sentimental moment that Miyako will remember forever. Her beautiful bouquet was absolutely gorgeous with its array of colors and florals. Carousel of Flowers did an amazing job with arranging Miyako’s bouquet. The colors just popped and really complemented the white in her dream wedding gown. Miyako looked like a princess from head to toe in her gorgeous wedding gown from Dressed To the Nines. WOW! Her girls looked at her in awe and could not stop gushing over how gorgeous Miyako looked. Helping her fluff out her wedding gown, her bridesmaids and junior bridesmaids wore individually unique burgundy dresses that suited each girl. “Miyako picked the color and let us pick any style we felt good in!” After a couple more photographs first inside and then outside in the courtyard, it was time to head to St. Marks Catholic Church where Father Rick wed the couple.

St. Marks Catholic Church is a beautiful church inside and out. Nathan, looking quite handsome in his navy suit from Men’s Wearhouse, waited patiently at the front of the aisle. After a couple minutes the doors opened and in walked Miyako with the biggest smile on her face. Nathan and Miyako locked eyes as she walked down the aisle. Father Rick officiated an incredible ceremony with a beautiful mass and blessing. It was time to marry Miyako and Nathan. Father Rick stepped aside while Miyako and Nathan had their first kiss as husband and wife while everybody cheered!

With the sun going down, we had to act fast and took the newly weds outside for some portraits. Miyako and Nathan embraced one another and sheltered each other from the chilly January evening arm-in-arm. The sun setting did not stop us from capturing their warm love. This couple is sweet as can be, they could not stop smiling and giggling amongst one another as we photographed.

Greeted by an amazing staircase inside Olde Mill Inn, it was time to get to get the party started!! Miyako and Nathan were ready to celebrate with their loved ones. So, it was time to eat some delicious food and dance the night away. Chris Marino of Limelight Entertainment pumped up the crowd and got everyone dancing to the beat and singing along to the songs! What a great party! Miyako, Nathan, and their loved ones danced all night to amazing music, laughed with their favorite people, and ate the most amazing treats made by Aisha Maliki of Calandras Bakery. What an amazing celebration! Everyone had an incredible time! We took Miyako and Nathan out to the courtyard for a few chilly nighttime photographs to finish off the night before we headed back to the dance floor to capture more of the on-going party.
