Kendal and Marc chose the Manasquan Inlet for their engagement photos for its sentimental value. Kendal and Marc had their first date walking the rocks at the Inlet, and it is also where Marc proposed to Kendal. We loved the idea of capturing these two in such a significant spot for them.
How did you meet?
“Marc and I have known each other since childhood; our parents are family friends. I have distinct memories of seeing him at their family parties! We briefly dated each other about seven years ago, but we both went our separate ways after going off to college. We then reconnected three years later, when I magically became his real estate agent when he was looking for an apartment. When we went out a second time, we recreated our first date by going to Maria’s restaurant in Manasquan, followed by a walk along the Inlet and then ice cream afterward. We’ve been together ever since!”
How did he propose?
“It was Marc’s idea to re-create our “first date” for the third time!! We got dinner in Manasquan, followed by a walk along the Inlet. It was on the beach that Marc proposed. It was only the two of us, which to me was very romantic because it was so nice to share the moment with just each other.”
What inspired your wardrobe for the shoot?
“I chose a blue and white flower dress, well first, because it was a pretty dress haha. But also because our wedding palette has blue themes to it, I plan on using blue and white hydrangeas for the wedding. I got it from Lulu’s if anyone wants to know! For our outfit change, we just wanted to wear something casual and low key.”
