Kira + Jack’s Wedding at the Columns in Avon by the Sea

What a beautiful day it was when Kira and Jack tied the knot and celebrated their love for one another at The Columns at Avon by the Sea. This ocean view venue is nestled in the perfect location for romantic portraits on the boardwalk… which happened to be an ideal location for Kira and Jack. Kira and Jack wanted to be close to the beach on their wedding day, so the Columns was perfect! Kira and Jack started going to the Columns a few years ago when Joe Baracata Band began playing every Sunday. Whenever they are in the area, they make it a point to see them play!

Cute Hawaiian shirts, anyone? Kira and her five bridesmaids looked so cute in their matching blue shorts and Hawaiian button-downs. Arriving at bride prep, Kira was sitting in the styling chair, getting her hair done by Kaitlyn of Pin It Up Bridal. Kaitlyn did a fantastic job styling all the girl’s hair! Kira chose to do a fun messy braid that looked gorgeous, and her girls all had their hair styled in up-dos, which looked stunning. The color palette of Kira and Jack’s wedding consisted of blue hues, ivory, pops of coral, with a lot of greenery. Pops of pale yellow were incorporated in her bouquet for her mother. It was absolutely gorgeous!! Pale florals and succulents were arranged by Desiree Dean of Desiree Dean Designs. The bouquet was tied with a soft white and blue ribbon. It was truly beautiful!

“LOVE YOU EVERY DAY” the phrase can be spotted on various details throughout the day – the hem of Kira’s dress, a necklace, a bracelet, a sign, even stitched to a handkerchief. It was essential to the couple to incorporate Kira’s mother on their wedding day. The remembrance of Kira’s mom is forever with them, especially during the celebration of their love. 

With just a few finishing touches, it was almost time!! Kristin McAvoy of Pin It Up Bridal gave Kira a natural glow and brought out her naturally stunning features. Kira was all excited to be marrying her best friend. Happy and smiley, Kira was ready to say I Do! Kira’s sister and Maid of Honor Erin, helped her get into her gorgeous Paloma Blanca wedding gown. WOW! Talk about layers, this dress was breathtaking, and Kira looked stunning!! The detailing of her dress was so beautiful. After a couple of in-suite portraits, it was time to get married! 

Jack looked handsome in his navy Men’s Wearhouse tuxedo and matching navy bowtie. He had on brown suede dress shoes and striped pale blue and white suspenders to compliment his overall look. His boutonniere looked just like a mini version of Kira’s bouquet! TOO CUTE! Matching Jack, his six groomsmen had navy tuxedos, navy bowties, brown suede dress shoes, and pale blue and white suspenders. The guys looked so dashing! To add a little pizzaz to their looks, they styled themselves with fun sunglasses! So, of course, we had to get a couple of silly pictures! Enough chit-chat about the guys, let me tell you about the love between Kira and Jack …

What’s inside the blue box? Jack opened up his wedding gift from Kira, and inside the blue box were cuff links handmade with beach sand from Manasquan Beach at the Jersey Shore. Jack proposed to Kira on this beach, and it is where we photographed their engagement session last October. How romantic!! Kira’s gift to Jack was sweet, personal, and sentimental. LOVE LOVE!!!

Their outdoor ceremony was extremely sweet. The ocean air filled with love and happiness, as their friends and family gathered at the Avon Pavillion to celebrate the love between Kira and Jack. Jack’s brother Rob officiated their wedding. What a moment it was when Jack looked up and saw his beautiful bride walking down the aisle with her father. Jack’s eyes instantly lit up, and he couldn’t even hold back his smile if he tried. “You may now kiss the bride.” Everyone cheered, WOO’ed, and clapped as the newlyweds kissed and smiled their way down the aisle hand-in-hand.

JUST MARRIED!!! It was now time to party and dance the night away – something both Kira and Jack were very excited about! The Columns at Avon by the Sea was the place to be this night! Dancing with friends and family, Kira and Jack danced and sang the night away to one of their all-time favorites: Joe Baracata Band! Sound familiar? Their favorite ‘Sunday band’ came out and performed for them and their guests on their Saturday wedding! What a spectacular wedding day!! Everyone was up and moving, dancing and singing, laughing and cheering as Kira and Jack’s love radiated the dance floor.
