Alicia & Mike's Engagement Session at Deep Cut Gardens with their fur baby Arya!

Such a spring vibe having Alicia and Mike’s engagement photography at the beautiful Deep Cut Gardens. It was so nice to walk around outside and enjoy the gardens. The colorful flowers reminded them of Spring, which fit perfectly with their theme and the timing of their Spring wedding. How romantic and fun! They were so lovey dovey during the session, it was very easy capturing the love between these two love birds. Alicia and Mike make such a cute couple!

How did you and your fiancé meet?

“We met at work. We both work for Walgreens and at the time we were both assistant store managers. We briefly met at a meeting and then interacted more at a training course we both had to attend. Shortly after we started dating, we both ended up getting promoted on the same day.”

Alicia and Mike love going on adventures and traveling. They also enjoy staying at home watching movies or their favorite TV shows, such as Game of Thrones. They brought their fur baby named Arya with them, who they named after one of their favorite characters from Game of Thrones. She is SOOO cute! She is a beautiful Shiba Inu who could not resist smiling for the camera. We walked through the garden and talked about their wedding day. They told us they are so excited for the big day – they cannot wait to be married and celebrate with all their loved ones.

How did your fiancé propose?

“On a hot air balloon ride! The entire thing was a surprise! For the longest time, I wanted to go on a hot air balloon ride. Since it was close to our anniversary, he played it off as it was a gift for our anniversary. As soon as we got in the basket to take off, the lady started recording and he was down on one knee. It was absolutely perfect!”

How precious, spontaneous, and romantic of Mike to setup such a wonderful proposal for Alicia!
