Aly and Jordan’s wedding day started and ended with fun, love, and laughter. Their entire wedding day took place at the beautiful English Manor in Ocean Township, New Jersey. The English Manor had their fall decorations up and their landscaping looked like it was straight out of a fall issued magazine. Even though dark clouds were in the sky and fall chilly weather was in the air, it was such a wonderful day to celebrate Aly and Jordan tying the knot. The sun even came out just in time for their first look!
The day was finally here! We remember photographing their engagement session a little over a year ago, time flew by so fast and we feel blessed to celebrate and photograph this next step in their lives. Aly and Jordan met at the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut. After a couple semesters at college they began dating…. and a couple of years later Jordan proposed to Aly during their college alumni weekend! “It’s about time these two got married!!” – their family and friends made this joke throughout the day.
What a group of fun and energetic individuals! Aly’s bridesmaids were pumped up, glammed up, and ready for their friend to get married. Aly greeted us with warm smiles and hugs; she was so excited to begin this next chapter in her life. We spent some time photographing her pretty details while chatting with Aly, her mother, and her four bridesmaids… including her lovable and hilarious sister Kelsey, her maid of honor. We joked with the girls and chatted about the day. Aly was so excited, she was so ready to be married to Jordan who she has been with for years now.
How beautiful were the colors of their wedding!? Maroon, pinks, and golds were evident throughout their wedding details. Kim Fulton of Paper Rose Invitations did a great job with Aly and Jordan’s pretty chic wedding invitations. They were beautifully done and really went with the theme of the wedding. Her jewelry by James Allen was so shiny and pretty. The pieces photographed so well against her invitation and florals. Among Aly’s details she included her grandmothers brooch pin. This brooch pin is very special to her and she wanted her grandmother to be there with her on her wedding day. So, she pinned it onto her beautiful ceremony bouquet. Can we take a minute to admire the bouquet? Camille Zarrelli of Floral Sentiments did a PHENOMENAL job on creating the florals for Aly and Jordan’s special day. The flowers were beyond beautiful and they smelled amazing!!! Aly said they were exactly what she wanted and was so happy how they turned out. The bouquet had a mix of fall tones with a hint of hot pink florals. What a perfectly done dramatic bouquet. The contrast went perfect and vibed well with the other details and colors of the wedding.
The bridesmaids were in gorgeous floor length maroon dresses. Kelsey, the maid of honor, had a slightly different dress than the other three girls. The maid of honor wore a floor length maroon dress with a lace stitching halter top. The girls looked so pretty and the contrast of their floral bouquets were amazing against the maroon color of the dresses. Each of the girls had their own unique hairstyle that complemented them perfectly. STUNNING! STUNNING LADIES! Aly’s hair was done by Melyssa Bauer of Nadia’s Hair Salon and was beautiful! Her hair was half up and half down, styled perfect in the back with beaded diamond hair accessories. The girls got their makeup done by Kara of Make Me Up Eva, who really pronounced the girls individual features and left them looking flawless. “Eyelashes ladies!” The girls and their silly jokes. They could not stop laughing and joking around with one another. The vibes in this room were just so inviting and friendly. We really had a great time prepping the bride and making sure all her details were captured perfectly.
Time to get Aly in her Sophia Tolli designed dress from Castle Couture. MY-OH-MY-OH-MY-ALY! She looked dazzling. This dress was designed for her. With her long gorgeous detailed veil she looked like a beautiful bride. “Oh veil, you’re so funny!” The girl’s laughs did not stop and we were having so much fun photographing! After a couple of portraits of Aly indoors, it was almost time to take her outside for the bride and groom’s first look. Jordan was eager to see his beautiful soon-to-be-wife in her wedding gown and no one can blame him, Aly looked absolutely stunning. After finding the perfect spot at The English Manor we set up the first look for the two love birds to have their alone quiet time with one another. Jordan looked so handsome and sharp in his tuxedo from Joseph A. Bank. Aly walked up to Jordan and tapped him on the shoulder and as soon as Jordan turned around to look at his bride, he could not take his eyes off of her. They embraced one another and were so happy they chose to have a first look so they could share this moment with one another and truly enjoy seeing each other for the first time in their own quiet space.
Before the ceremony we took a few formal photographs of the couple with their family. After some sweet moments with Grandma Muriel and the rest of the wonderful friendly family. Aly and Jordan’s ceremony was held outside on the beautiful grounds at The English Manor. Florals from Camille Zarrelli of Floral Sentiments were seen throughout the ceremony space and it looked amazing of course! As the groomsmen and bridesmaids walked to the alter space, the theme of Game of Thrones was being played by the live performance of SPN Events. The ceremony was filled with love, laughs, and strong positive emotions as family and friends witnessed the marriage of Aly and Jordan. Through the cloudy sky the sun came out and kissed the faces of the bride and groom throughout their ceremony. It was such a short and sweet ceremony. Aly’s close college friend Robert Allen wed the couple. “You may now kiss the bride!” Aly and Jordan were finally married! Smiling and holding hands, the newly weds walked down the flower petal path of the ceremony as their family and friends cheered and cried happy tears. It was truly beautiful. After the ceremony we headed inside for the cocktail hour, where SPN Events continued to entertain the guests with their live musical performance.
The English Manor looked amazing with their orange and red uplighting the couple chose for their reception space. The details at their reception were very cute and matched their color scheme perfectly. “The branches!” Aly and Jordan picked these fun and unique centerpieces that had branches with tiny tea candle lights hanging. The centerpieces were so pretty, the reception space was decorated so nicely.
Chris Marino of Limelight Entertainment did a phenomenal job with the entertainment and brought exactly what the couple wanted. The dance floor was PACKED, guests had a blast and danced the entire night away. Everyone was singing, bumping to the music, and having so much fun on the dance floor!! As the evening went on, guests danced, drank, and enjoyed each other’s company. This wedding was off the charts!
Congratulations Aly and Jordan on being newly weds! You both looked incredible and are such kindhearted individuals. Hope you had a blast and continue to do so as your new chapter as a married couple begins. Thank you for choosing Limelight Entertainment for your wedding day, it was so much fun!
