Celeste + Juan’s Summer Garden Wedding at the Oakeside Mansion in Bloomfield

Celeste and Jaun spent their summer garden wedding day surrounded by love from their family and friends at The Oakeside Mansion.

We started photographing her details, while Celeste was getting all glammed up by Jennifer Cruz at home. She was so excited for the big day! The color scheme and details for their wedding were fun, inviting, and very beautiful. The colors consisted of pale pinks, navy, gold, and shades of greens. The invitations were cream colored with a navy paper lace and gold trim. They were very well made and complimented the rest of her details.

Celeste’s mother was the first to greet us. She was so happy and excited for Celeste and Juan. Her love and support for her daughter was incredible. Continuing with photographs of Celeste’s details, her mother paused us to mention that Celeste is wearing the veil on her wedding day, because it was her [mother’s] wish. This veil was stunning! The extremely long veil was made with such fine details, it was definitely a statement. Her bouquet and florals were so pretty, and consisted of pale pink flowers. Flowers by Rana did a beautiful job at creating the dream bouquet for Celeste and Juan.

Celeste arrived at The Oakeside Mansion with a few of her dolled up bridesmaids. Smiles and excitement filled the room. Celeste felt great and looked so happy! She told us how excited she is for the special day and couldn’t wait to get married. Celeste chose to wear her long beautiful black hair half up and half down. As a bold statement, she wore bright pink lipstick that really popped. The rest of her makeup was very natural – what a pretty bride. Her dress from Demetrios was phenomenal! It was esquire and made with fine details like her veil. It had a corset back and a heart shaped bodice. It fit Celeste tight at her waist with a lace sash belt. She looked stunning!

Eager to see one another, Celeste met with Juan in the gardens for a first look. Juan had his back facing Celeste as she slowly walked up to her handsome groom. Before turning around Juan did a quick tie change, because he had on the wrong tie! HA! HA! After the change Celeste tapped him on the shoulder and the groom slowly turned around…. Juan was wearing a navy tuxedo from Men’s Wearhouse, a blush pink tie, and brown dress shoes. Wow!! How handsome did he look! Smiles and giggles came from the lovely couple. Juan could not take his eyes off of his beautiful bride. They embraced one another as they spent this sweet moment together. After we took photographs of Celeste and Juan at the garden, we went to the front of the mansion to take a few fun bridal party shots. The girls all looked amazing in different individual blush pink gowns and the guys looked dapper in their matching navy suits, blush pink bowties, and brown dress shoes. 

“Pick a seat. Not a side.” It was time to marry the groom and bride! In the garden the ceremony space was set up with white folding chairs on the lawn and flowers nestled throughout. The arch had a beautiful range of pink flowers at the top to continue the garden theme of the wedding. The ceremony was simple and sweet. Cries, cheers, and lots of love filled the humid early September air. “You May now kiss the bride.” Celeste and Juan walked hand-in-hand down the aisle as husband and wife. When everyone went inside for cocktail hour to grab a snack and chat, Celeste and Juan stayed in the gardens for a couple more portraits and for a quick breather. Celeste was excited and happy to be photographed, “I love getting my photograph taken” she said to us as she smiled beautifully at the camera. 

The reception was held outside in a large white tent. Celeste and Juan had their sweetheart table upfront of the dance floor facing their guests. Quick introduction of the parents, bridal party, and our guests of honor music began to play and everyone grabbed their phones to take a picture of the bride and groom’s first dance. They swayed and moved to the music, while the crowd awed and cheered for the two love birds. The details at their reception were very cute and matched their color scheme perfectly. The cake was cream colored with added floral details, blush pinks, laced navy, and hints of greens. As the evening continued, guests drank,  danced, and enjoyed each other’s company. This wedding was incredible!
