I love when a couple chooses a location because it is somewhere meaningful to them. Ashleigh and Jordan first met in Belmar and so Belmar was the perfect location for their engagement photos. We met by the fishing club pier on 1st avenue and spent the next few hours chatting about wedding plans.
Jordan actually proposed to Ashleigh while playing a “casual game of bananagrams”. Jordan managed to put “marry me” in his puzzle and when Ashleigh checked his words to make sure he wasn’t cheating, she saw the words “marry me” and immediately froze. Jordan then got down on one knee and proposed right there and the rest is history. 😉
Ashleigh and Jordan are super sweet together and enjoy making homemade margaritas, biking to local restaurants, and working out. They are getting married at the Sterling Ballroom in Tinton Falls next summer. In fact, their engagement session took place on the one year mark until their big day! We all thought that was pretty cool.
Ashleigh and Jordan are writing their own vows to each other and I cannot wait to capture it all on their special day!
