When Jess and I were discussing locations for hers and Chris’s engagement session, one thing came to mind; flowers! So I sent her a few location options and we landed on Sayen Garden in Hamilton. This location was absolutely stunning! The gardens were beautiful.
I walked and talked with Jess and Chris about their upcoming wedding and stopped wherever the light moved me. Jess and Chris were up for anything and I love that! The only thing that stood in our way during this session were the monstrous hornets. Oh my gosh! They were huge!
Chris and Jess met while working at an environmental consulting firm and continued their friendship while playing on a softball team together. They got to know each other through mutual friends from work and their love blossomed from there.
Jess and Chris are getting married at the English Manor this upcoming March and I couldn’t be more excited for them! When asked what they are most excited for on their wedding day, Jess says, “We’re really excited to have the family all together! I can’t wait to dance the night away to Brian Kirk and the Jirks. And to be married, of course. Chris says he’s excited for the food.” And excited for the food he should be! The English Manor has the most delicious food!

We love watching football! We go to the same bar every Sunday – he’s a Giants fan, I’m a Vikings fan. We also really enjoy cooking together and playing softball. We like to go to the movies, especially for the latest superhero movies. We’re both science people, and we like to compete during Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.
