I know this tends to be what I say in every blog post but it is so so true! I had so much fun with Meghan and Joe on their engagement session! I can honesty say that I truly have the best couples in the world.
I met Meghan and Joe on the beach in Lavallette right by their house. They wanted their engagement photos to reflect themselves and they also wanted something a little different from where their wedding photos will take place. So we met right on the beach down the street from where they live and got started taking photos.
The wind was a little intense on this particular day but we found spots that helped keep a natural look to the photos. Meghan had her hair straight so the wind didn’t affect it at all which was great! If she were to have curled her hair for this beach session the curls probably wouldn’t have lasted, but she thought ahead and had her hair done perfect for a beach day.
After some photos on the beach on the ocean side of Lavallette, we headed to a cute little park on the bay side. I found some gorgeous light peeking through the trees and we took a ton of photos there. We stumbled upon an overturned row boat and then took a stroll along the beach.
Meghan and Joe are getting married next June in Asbury Park at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel. I absolutely love the Berkeley and after spending the afternoon with Meghan and Joe, I cannot wait to photograph their wedding there!! When I asked Meghan what she was most excited for on her wedding day her response was, “We are looking forward to our family and friends celebrating our wedding day!”
Meghan and Joe are having Chris Marino from Limelight Entertainment there to DJ their wedding so I think their celebration is going to be pretty epic!
Chris and I are so excited for their wedding day and the best part is that it will be here before we know it!

We met almost 9 years ago on my sister’s 21st Birthday when Joe was the bartender. It took 3 years before we finally had our first date.

Joe proposed while on vacation in Mont Tremblant Canada. After a day of snowboarding, at the bottom of the mountain Joe got down on one knee and asked me “so do you want to get married?”

Our favorite date is walking the boardwalks. Either the boardwalk in Lavallette, or Seaside Heights or Point Pleasant.
