Alex and Jay have a love for nature and being outdoors. They love to spend time hiking, kayaking, camping, and taking the dogs for a walk. When planning their wedding day, they incorporated what they love into their wedding day scheme. Signs of nature and the outdoors made an appearance in their wedding details.
These details included colors such as green, gray, and wine to contrast with the green tones. Alex and Jay’s wedding florals were designed with green succulents, ivory flowers, and green leaves! They looked absolutely gorgeous! Such a unique way to incorporate your favorite pieces of nature into your wedding details.
The bridesmaids wore wine-colored floor-length dresses that paired nicely with the groomsmen and their brown leather suspenders and dress shoes. The groomsmen looked dashing in gray tuxedos; they had succulent boutonnieres that they pinned to brown leather suspenders. The combination of details looked beautiful next to the unique green and ivory bow ties.
Throughout the event space, succulents and florals were prominent and created a very outdoorsy atmosphere for the bride and groom to entertain in. Alex and Jay’s invitations had decorative evergreen trees and other green nature aesthetics in the design. The trees on the stationary were a foreshadowing to the reception when their guests received little fir trees as their take-home gift from the bride and groom. How cute!!
Alex and Jay thought out every detail when designing their wedding day atmosphere. From the succulents to the wood details in the reception space to the green hues, they truly brought nature from the outside in. You could feel Alex and Jay’s love of nature all around you on their big day!
