Gold and Black Themed Wedding at the Versailles Ballroom Toms River NJ

I have to start this blog post by saying that Heather and Robert are two of the sweetest people we have had the pleasure of working with. As soon as I arrived to Heather for bridal prep she immediately gave me a thank you card for Chris and I and it had the sweetest words in it. I can honestly say that Chris and I love what we do, but when couples recognize our efforts the way that Heather and Robert did, it really makes us realize that we have the best job in the world!!

Both Heather and Robert got ready at the Ramada of Toms River. Heather prepped for her walk down the aisle along with her mom, daughter, and best friends. Robert got ready with his grandfather and his best friends. Heather’s maid of honor was her and Robert’s daughter Desi. And if that is not cute enough, Robert’s best man was his grandfather!! Go ahead, everybody aaaaawwwwwww!!

As soon as everyone was ready, we headed to Allaire Park for their first look and portraits. Robert was so cute during the first look. The look on his face said it all! He was in awe of his beautiful bride. Heather was in a gorgeous gown with detailed gold embroidering. It was stunning.

We had a ton of fun at the park and I think that Robert’s grandfather had the best “scream and shout” face to date. You have to see the full bridal party photos. Grandpa Rob was the star of the show!

After photos, Heather and Robert hopped in their Rolls Royce and we replicated a photo of Heather’s grandparent on their wedding day. It is such a classic shot! Then we were off to the ceremony.

The ceremony took place at The Versailles Ballroom. DJ Chris Marino of Limelight Entertainment took care of the ceremony music and microphone. He even coordinated with Robert’s college friend who sang the processional song for Heather to walk down the aisle to.

After a beautiful ceremony by Reverend Janet Jones, the guests then headed into cocktail hour. Versailles ballroom has one of the best cocktail hours ever!!!! The food is amazing and there is a ton of it.

Heather and Robert’s introductions were definitely very memorable. They both were introduced to their guests for the very first time as Mr. and Mrs. and as they entered the ballroom, they were wearing teddy bear heads! You have to scroll down and see it! It was awesome!

Heather and Robert had so much fun with their wedding. Robert danced a special dance with his daughter but it wasn’t a dance, it was a Michael Jackson dance off!! Robert came out in a full Michael Jackson costume, wig and all!!

Chris and I had so much fun being a part of Heather and Robert’s wedding. We honestly cannot thank them enough for choosing us for their big day!
