Jackie and Chris’s intimate wedding at home was both magical and romantic. They had their wedding ceremony at St. Denis Church with their closest family and friends in attendance. What a lovely September day; it was the perfect weather for the two to come as one. In a non traditional twist (we really LOVE), Jackie and Chris got ready together. They helped each other with their details and made sure one another looked their very best for their big day.
Tell us all about your wedding day. Where it is, what your plans are, the color schemes…. tell us your wedding story.
“What we envision on our wedding day is for everyone to see us in our own private environment come together as a whole with all of the love and support from our nearest and dearest. I will be in Ivory, Chris will be in an Ocean Blue suit, Best Man Navy to compliment the blue, and my sister possibly in a blush color. The little ring bears will be in most likely blue, and the flower girls will be in ivory or blush. We are hosting a romantic, elegant, timeless wedding.”
Jackie looked beautiful in her Stella York bridal dress. The lace dress fit her like a glove and was meant to be worn by her! She looked absolutely stunning with her hair up in a styled messy up-do, and her makeup was done by the lovely MakeMeUp Eva team. All of their florals were designed by Chris’s mom’s friend, Floral Events by Jen. All the decor and details were stunning!! Jackie held onto a beautiful small bouquet with gorgeous white flowers and natural green leaves. Chris had on a nice ocean blue tuxedo from Michael Duru Clothiers. He paired his look with a yellow and blue striped tie and brown suede shoes. He looked dashing!
What is something that you two like to do together? Or any particular thing that you have in common?
“We can honestly do anything or everything together. What we truly like to do is we enjoy our walks together, laying in bed together, drinking coffee, watching tv, and just simply being together. We have a good sense of humor. We truly get each other. We are aware of each other’s emotions. Very intuitive.”
The ceremony at St. Denis Church was very personable and lovely. Their wedding ceremony consisted of heartfelt eulogies and plenty of smiles. Jackie and Chris said I DO and shared a sweet kiss. After a couple of family formals and romantic portraits, we headed to their house for their celebration. Dancing, drinking, laughing, socializing, and coming together, everyone had a really great time. It was time to cut the cake! Jackie and Chris went for a fun and simple cake designed by Cameo Cakes Gourmet Bakery with succulents and greenery, with gold details. It looked delicious!
Congratulations, Jackie and Chris, on your happily ever after! Thank you so much for choosing Limelight Entertainment to photograph your wedding day.
