Kim and Tom’s wedding was a dream come true. They searched and searched for the perfect venue that matched both of their personalities and romantic laid-back theme of their wedding. After searching for almost a whole year they came across Everly at Railroad in Tuckahoe, NJ. Prior to the wedding, Kim and Tom spoke about how super excited they are to have their portraits taken at this venue! The Everly at Railroad is a beautiful place that holds all sorts of fun nooks and cranny’s to play around with in photographs. It is such an intriguing space that has surprises at every turn. Kim and Tom wanted a whimsical and romantic wedding with laid-back vibes.
The sun was shinning down on this lovely day as Kim and Tom were getting ready to be wed. Kim was so excited and chatty with her bridesmaids while getting all dolled up for her big day. Her details consisted of shades of greens and blues. The colors looked incredible together! Kristen Womack and Samantha Garro did an amazing job styling her hair and makeup. Kim wore her hair over her shoulders with a small sparkly hair piece in the back and her makeup with a light neutral tone which complimented her features. Kim and Tom really love the green banana leaf theme and subtly put banana leaves throughout their details. The girls wore mismatched dresses that were different lengths and textures. The dresses consisted of floral prints and solids, in all colors from the green family. How stunning did each girl look in her own unique dress! It was such a cute and clever idea and it really came together. The bridesmaids fawned over Kim in her gorgeous wedding gown. The wedding dress Kim chose was a beautiful cream Hadley Dress by Sottero & Midgley. OH MY GOSH! How gorgeous did she look!? Now she really looks like a fairy tale princess all dressed up and ready to get married.
Tom wore a blue Calvin Klein tuxedo with brown dress shoes. The floral tie he had on complimented the mismatch theme of the bridesmaids dresses. He looked extremely handsome! He was so ready to see his bride for the first time, he could not stop smiling all day. Each groomsmen wore navy blue Alfani tuxedos, with shoes that matched Tom’s brown dress shoes, and greenish ties. The couple planned on having a first look so they can have a special moment together and then enjoy cocktail hour with their guests. 1, 2, 3…. “WOW! BEAUTIFUL!” Love was evident as the couple embraced one another. Tom was speechless when he saw Kim for the first time in her wedding gown. She twirled and swooshed her dress so Tom could get a good look at her. He looked her up and down, smiled, and pulled her in for a kiss.
Wedding Paper Divas and The Lucky Elephant Paper Co. did a great job on their wedding invitations, details, and cards. They pinpointed exactly what Kim and Tom were looking for when they thought about their invites and details for their wedding day. The florals by Joyful Bouquets were so beautiful and fit the wedding theme very nicely. The orange and yellow tones in the flowers contrasted well with the green hues in the wedding.
Their ceremony was short and sweet. The sun was shinning and everyone was smiling as one by one the bridesmaids walked down the aisle. Happily in love and excited their eyes remained on one another as Kim walked down the aisle. Kim and Tom wrote their own vows and I don’t think there was a dry eye watching. After the ceremony Kim, Tom, and their guests went inside Everly at Railroad and danced the night away.
Kim and Tom had such a beautiful wedding. They are a couple just radiating love and it was truly an honor to capture their day for them. Congratulations Kim and Tom!
