Lauren + Tom’s Winter Wedding at Addison Park

Lauren and Tom’s Winter Wedding at Addison Park was one for the books! The sun was shining down on this chilly but beautiful February day. Blush pink, ivory, black, and green were the colors of this wedding and they played a wonderful part in creating such an elegant winter vibe. This gorgeous venue was out of this world with its beautiful grand entrance. Twin cascading staircases and a black and white checkered floor greeted guests as you entered Addison Park.

Lauren felt completely content and relaxed as she prepared for her wedding day. In a couple hours she would marry her best friend and she could not have been any happier. “Time is going by so quick, but I’m so ready.” is what Lauren boasted to her friends and family. Peter James Floral Couture did an extraordinary job with the floral arrangements for Lauren and Tom’s special day. Lauren’s bouquet was big and beautiful with wintery cypress and peachy peonies. Gorgeous is the only word that comes to mind! The girls got ready with Lauren, as they gushed over how stunning she looked. Her hair done by Ariana of Hans Maxems Salon and her makeup done by Make Me Up Eva, Lauren could not look anymore beautiful. All of the girls looked incredible! They wore floor length black dresses and carried small blush bouquets. The colors of the bridesmaids dresses were a classic and elegant look and contrasted well with Lauren’s gorgeous Maggie Sottero wedding dress. What a beautiful bride! As Lauren stepped into her wedding dress from Castle Couture all eyes were on her. The V-neck lace gown with a train on the dress was truly made for her. She looked amazing! We took a couple bridal portraits and the natural light from the large windows was everything!

We headed to Addison Park to get ready for the first look. Lauren and Tom chose to do their first look in the grand entrance of the venue. Tom was facing away as Lauren walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. Tom turned around and his mouth instantly formed a smile. The beautiful couple embraced and had their moment to themselves. Tom looked sharp wearing a gray tuxedo from Jos. A Bank. He had on a black bowtie to complement the groomsmen’s black ties and bridesmaids black dresses. We photographed portraits of the couple and their bridal party in this elegant space before guests started to arrive for the ceremony.

You may now kiss the bride! The wedding ceremony was beautiful and very sweet. Lauren and Tom’s friends and family were gathered to celebrate their love with them. The space felt so warm and filled with so much happiness as the couple kissed and then made their way down the aisle. Hand-in-hand now newly weds, Lauren and Tom shared another kiss at the end of the aisle as their guests cheered and clapped for them.

Lauren handmade a lot of her reception details. The centerpieces designed by Lauren were absolutely stunning and so much fun to photograph. The idea of having wine corks as place card holders was such a unique and super cute idea! It was time to party and dance the night away! Elite Entertainment did an awesome job getting the crowd pumped to celebrate! Everyone was on the dance floor!
