Alyson + Jordan chose Liberty State Park for their Engagement Photography and it was awesome! Aly + Jordan have been living in NYC for a few years now and when they were choosing their e-session location, the decided on Liberty State Park for its beautiful views of the New York City skyline.
We had so much fun talking, laughing and joking (it was so windy) while we walked around the park exploring all there was to see. Aly + Jordan met in college at the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut. They were both freshman orientation leaders and were both dating other people at the time but remained friends through that summer. The following semester they started dating and the rest (7 years later!) is history!
Jordan proposed during their college’s alumni weekend. They were driving up from New Jersey and Jordan tried to drop many hints that all went right over Aly’s head. Their two friends were meeting them on campus and Aly didn’t find it strange at all that one of them had a professional camera with him! They walked over to the entrance where the University of Hartford sign is displayed. Jordan suggested that they take a photo of just the two of them. After a few “test” photos from their friend, Jordan got down on one knee! Needless to say, Aly was completely shocked and super excited. It was the perfect way to start their favorite weekend of the year and a super sweet way to propose to the love of his life!!
Aly + Jordan are getting married next September at the gorgeous English Manor in Ocean Township. They are most excited about celebrating and dancing the night away with their family and friends! And we are very excited to be photographing and providing the entertainment for their wedding. Its going to be amazing!!
