Photography sessions and weddings are about the hustle and bustle. It’s the busy-ness of a photography session or wedding day that may make you believe we are all business. On the contrary, when our couples are happy, we are happy. Between you and our team, we are always having fun! We love what we do, and we have fun doing it!
Some of our favorite behind the scenes moments are of “Pregnant Jackie”. Full belly, growing an actual human inside of her, and she still got down on the floor, squished herself in the corner, and stood on anything and everything to give herself some height.
Our entertainment team ALWAYS has fun during their part of your special day! I mean, who wouldn’t, playing all the greatest hits – it would be way too difficult to not want to dance and sing along!!
Typically, we will prep a location and set up a scene before we bring you over. After we get our light just right, we take a test shot. However, our test shots aren’t just any old test shots… STRIKE A POSE! We love to have fun with it! Whether it be walking down the aisle, holding hands in a field, or pretending to cut your cake – before bringing you over, we make sure the scene is perfect.
Test shots are mini portrait sessions for us. We LOVE taking pictures and have FUN being in them! We have a collection of photographs from all your happy memories. Sometimes our team even uses their equipment, including their camera, as props in the pictures. What better way to get the “cake cutting” test shot than to use a camera as the knife to cut the cake. Walking down an aisle, the camera is now a bouquet when testing the light for the procession. We just have fun!

Sometimes we even fit right in with your wedding party – in photos or even out on the dance floor. Correy… he’s the bridesman you didn’t know you needed but definitely will not forget. He not only helps the day run smoothly, but he will also be there if you need anything, and we mean ANYTHING… need a lighter? Correy got you. Need a dance partner? Correy got you. Need an extra bridesman? Correy will not disappoint.
Every love story has a photographer hiding in the brush, lying on the ground, or balancing on a rock. We are honestly everywhere and nowhere at the same time! We are there to capture you on your special day, even if it means later discovering the whackiest photos of us. Of course, we always sneak those pictures of each other, taking pictures of our couple’s wedding details or their loved ones. Speaking of “working,” here is our proof that we do work! 😉
We absolutely adore the veil shots! If you have a veil, we guarantee there to be photographs of us tossing the veil, fluffing your veil, and even admiring your veil.
Fluffing the dress, fixing the hair, pinning the boutonnieres, holding your bouquet – we are there for you. Chatting about old times with the grandparents, rocking out on the dance floor, and enjoying some cranberry juice with sprite – We promise we are working hard! (and having fun!!)
