Garden Wedding Ceremony at the English Manor in Ocean Township

Melissa + Rahmin had the most beautiful garden wedding ceremony this past weekend at the English Manor in Ocean Township, NJ. The day started off with rain, but as soon as they were ready for their first look, the skies cleared up and the rain came to a halt. Their prayers were answered!

Melissa + Rahmin put so much thought into their Spring wedding day. Their details were simply beautiful!

They started their day getting ready at the English Manor. Melissa stepped into her gorgeous wedding gown from Castle Couture and designed by Pronovias. Her handmade and custom designed headpiece and jewelry were designed by Foolish Ginger and let me tell you, this was the most beautiful hair piece I have ever seen.

While Melissa put on all of her finishing touches, Rahmin was in the groom suite suiting up in his navy blue custom fit suit by Jos A. Banks. He finished his look with a navy blue and white dotted bowtie and his boutonniere designed by Gig Morris Florist. All of the florals were from Gig Morris and these pastel bouquets and boutonnieres did not disappoint. The bouquets were stuffed with pink peonies and pastel roses. They were simply stunning.

After the two were dressed and ready, they opened cards from one another and read them aloud. It was the sweetest thing too! They both picked out cards that had tandem bicycles on the front of them. Which is one of the things that they love to do together is ride their tandem bike around cute little beach towns. They even brought their tandem bike on their engagement session! So when Melissa opened her card from Rahmin and saw it was a tandem bike, she was beaming from ear to ear. It was perfect!

Melissa + Rahmin had the most beautiful and intimate first look. The rain had stopped and they were able to have their first look outside, which was exactly what Melissa had wanted for that moment. It was a super sweet moment and I am so honored to have been able to capture it for them.

After we wrapped up all of the photos and it became time for everyone to get ready for the ceremony, Rahmin and Melissa made the call to move the ceremony outside. Their ceremony was going to be outside in the garden at the English Manor. It was the most stunning backdrop for their wedding and the best little twist to the day.

Their ceremony was beautiful! And one of my favorite moments was the look on Rahmin’s face as Melissa walked down the aisle to him. Even though they had already seen each other during their first look, Melissa took his breath away yet again as she walked down to take his hand.

After their gorgeous wedding ceremony it was party time! Jason Jani from SCE Event group got the dance floor rockin! At one point Jay gathered everyone on the dance floor and announced that Rahmin + Melissa had a little surprise for everyone. Then Rahmin came out with a CO2 gun and sprayed the crowd with electric fog! The crowd went wild.

Oh and it was Cinco De Mayo, so of course everyone was wearing sombreros and shakin their moroccas. They even started a mini limbo line. I’m telling you, Melissa + Rahmin’s family know how to party!

They finished the night with cake and a sparkler exit! It was the perfect way to end the most perfect day. I am so honored to have been their photographer and to have had Limelight be their photography team. It was awesome! Congrats Melissa + Rahmin!! xoxo
