The flowers were important to Danielle and Narcissus Florals made all her dreams come true: I wanted my sister’s bouquet as my matron of honor to be special and a little different from the other girls. Her bouquet included blush peonies, which is her favorite flower. My dad’s boutonnière was also special. Instead of having roses like the other groomsmen, he had white ranunculus to match the flowers in my bouquet. Matt’s boutonnière was a surprise. His favorite color is orange, so I surprised him with a boutonnière with a white rose and one orange ranunculus.

What was the most anticipated or special moment of your wedding day?

“Seeing each other for the first time down the aisle at the church ceremony was definitely an anticipated moment. Seeing Matt’s reaction to how I looked as a bride was really special. Another special moment was our first dance as a married couple.” – said Danielle.

The English Manor added to Danielle and Matthew’s romantic-themed wedding with its beautiful grounds and architecture. Their color palette was steel blue and blush which complimented this gorgeous springtime wedding.

Proposal Story!

“When Matthew proposed, I was not expecting it to happen that day at all! We were both working at home at our own places then, and he called me to ask if I wanted to grab lunch on our break. As we were driving, he pretended he forgot his wallet and needed to turn around. He pulled into the Starbucks where we first met up to make a U-turn. Then he said, while we’re here, “let us get out and reminisce about where we first met and get a coffee.” I was a little confused since I thought we were going to lunch. Then as we’re standing outside the Starbucks, he starts talking about seeing me there for the first time and then gets on his knee to propose. I was so surprised and happy. Matthew’s brother and his fiancé secretly hid nearby and captured the moment on camera. When we entered Starbucks, the employees started clapping for us. We got free coffee, and they wrote “Love Birds” on our cups. It was the perfect proposal because although we had talked about getting married and I had hoped it was going to happen sometime soon, I never expected it to happen that day. To be surprised was the best.” – Danielle shared.

The wedding favors were so fun and unique! Their first date was a coffee date, so they had ground coffee as their favors which they personalized with “love is brewing” stickers and also a “Love is brewing” sign on the favors table.

Do you have any wedding planning or marriage advice that you’d like to share with other couples planning their day?

“Do as many things as you can early on, even if it seems silly to get them done so far in advance. It will save you from being overwhelmed towards the end. For example, I ordered my bridesmaids’ gifts months and months before the wedding just so it was one less thing to do towards the end.” – Danielle shared.
