After meeting in Asbury Park and spending so much time there, it was the perfect location for Samantha and Brian’s engagement session. Asbury Park is home to the sandy beachfront of the Asbury boardwalk, Convention Hall, and the famous Stone Pony. Walking along the boardwalk we stopped at a few of the murals to capture a couple romantic portraits. Samantha wore a beautiful dress that combined texture and print so nicely; Brian looked handsome in his denim button down shirt and tan dress pants. Both looking absolutely stunning!!!
- How did you and your fiancé meet?
“We met sitting outside of Johnny Macs in May 2012. Someone had brought their pet parrots there and the two of us being animal lovers both gravitated towards them. We ended up sitting at a table outside with parrots on our shoulders chit chatting for a while.. It turns out we had a mutual friend as well!”
We took a stroll and walked through the town of Asbury. The streets are lined with colorful fun buildings, we just had to capture some of that magnificent color! We stumbled upon Johnny Macs, where our two lovebirds met. We stopped and photographed right outside of the teal green building. Samantha blushed and a big smile came across Brian’s face – we can only imagine the feelings of meeting one another coming back to life – LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.
- How did your fiancé propose?
“He proposed outside of a house we rented in the mountains near Lake George, NY! We were there with a bunch of friends celebrating his 30th birthday. He popped the question as we were just hanging outside by the fire pit, playing lawn games. Perfect moment because it was 100% us.”
These two are so down-to-earth and very loving. “Exciting, fun & comfortable – we’re best friends and love to adventure together.” During their engagement photography, we talked about the upcoming wedding day. The two shared their excitement to celebrate their love with all of their closest family and friends.
Samantha and Brian, congratulations on your engagement! We are looking forward to capturing the love on your wedding day in the year 2021!
