Winter Wedding at the Versailles Ballroom

Emily + Andrew’s wedding at the Versailles Ballroom was the most picture perfect snowy winter wedding day! When I arrived there were just a few flurries but while the girls prepped the snow began to fall heavier and heavier.

Emily and her entourage were taken care of by a wedding professional beauty team called Oh My Glam!. These girls did such an amazing job and had everyone ready right on time.

Emily went for a vintage look carrying a cluster of feathers accentuated in rhinestones. Her handmade head piece resembled a 1920’s accessory and she finished her look with a crystal encrusted shoulder cape and deep red lipstick. She looked stunning!!

We set up her first look with her father and mother in the lobby by the Christmas tree. Her dad’s face was absolutely priceless! He was in awe of his little girl in her wedding gown. They gushed over her and took some photos and then it was time for her big reveal to Andrew.

Andrew was so sweet when he saw his bride for the first time. This couple likes to take their own path and decided to start their own traditions so Andrew had already seen Emily’s dress. But when he saw the entire package? The finished look? He was speechless. The two kissed and chatted about their morning and had some time together to soak in the moment.

We took some photos right in the lobby by the Christmas tree but then it was time to go out in the snow! I am so happy this couple decided to brave the cold weather for me because the photos we got out in the snow were absolutely epic!

Emily + Andrew’s wedding ceremony took place at the Versailles Ballroom. Their marriage was officiated by the Reverend D who did such a great job! I see a lot of wedding ceremonies take place but this one was so heartfelt, yet charming and funny. After the ceremony you really felt like you had known the couple for years even if you had not. The officiant was able to tell their love story in Emily and Andrew’s unique way.

The celebration immediately followed the ceremony and DJ Chris Marino of Limelight Entertainment was able to kick this party into high gear fast. Emily had mentioned that both of their families loved to dance and you could see that! We were surrounded by some of the best dancers I have ever seen at a wedding. This crowd was so much fun!

Emily and Andrew chose to accent their dance floor with intelligent lighting which brought a party atmosphere to the room. They also opted for a Photo Booth that all of their guests enjoyed throughout the night.
