Wedding at the Battleground Country Club in Manalapan

Talk about a gorgeous location! Alex and Jimmy celebrated their wedding day at the Battleground Country Club in Manalapan, New Jersey. This venue has a beautiful view of their private 220-acre golf course! With a manicured lawn, this 18-hole golf course was the picture-perfect backdrop for Alex and Jimmy’s wedding photography.

What a lovely day it was – Alex and her six beautiful bridesmaids were chitchatting and joking around. Alex and her girls looked as if they were at a PJ party with their comfy matching grey PJ shorts and blouses, they looked so cute!! The girls had their hair styled by Big Day Glam. Alex went with her hair down, with a few strands pinned back by a side braid. Such a fun and flirty look!! Her six bridesmaids had their hair styled in unique updos and down do’s. The girls’ makeup looks were done by Francesca Gippetti. She did a phenomenal job of distinguishing each of the girls’ gorgeous features. It was then time we got Alex into her wedding gown from David’s Bridal! Jackie, Alex’s sister and one of her bridesmaids, helped Alex into her wedding gown. Let us talk about this David’s Bridal wedding gown… the detailing of this dress was beyond amazing!! Alex looked absolutely stunning in the beautiful heart-shaped gown!! Such a sight to see as all smiles were on her when she put on her finishing touches. Mom helped her fluff her veil as they shared that special moment together. THE DAY FINALLY ARRIVED! The atmosphere was filled with joy and love. Kisses for Alex, as she helped her father with his white rose boutonniere outside on this gorgeous day.

Jimmy and his groomsmen joked around as they got ready for the day. Wearing dark gray tuxedos, they looked handsome as can be. Jimmy had the help of his father to put on his Schweons tuxedo jacket and his mother to help straighten him up. So excited for her son to get married to the love of his life, she shared a sweet hug with him before sending him off. His groomsmen were ready to help him put his finishing touches on. Joking around, they helped each other straighten their ties and fix their collars. Jimmy’s four groomsmen were so happy for him. It was such a loving group of guys! The guys wore brown suede dress shoes with colorful ties that matched the bridesmaids. Jimmy had on a white tie to complement Alex’s wedding gown. The colors looked terrific when all put together. 

Deep breath because it was time to see Alex for the first time that day. First, looks are so intimate and personal, we love that Alex and Jimmy chose to do a first look and guess what we had… tall grass as a backdrop!! They embraced one another and spent this precious moment together as we documented it for them. We took a few sweet portraits of the happy couple, before starting bridal party portraits and then moving on to family formals.

Alex’s bridesmaids wore different mauve colors of floor-length dresses, and Jimmy’s groomsmen wore dark grey tuxedos. Such contrasting colors complimented well with the light and airy greenery Alex and Jimmy had chosen for their wedding florals. Mauve, ivory, and green filled the beautiful bouquets designed by Kirks Florist. The details for their wedding day were perfect!! Very light and very airy colors filled the frame as we captured the love and essence of this gorgeous day.

Their ceremony was officiated by Jimmy’s cousin Lynne Storck at the Battleground Country Club. Loving friends and family attended the ceremony as they chitchatted and gushed over the beautiful ceremony space, eagerly awaiting the bride and groom’s arrival. Everything was so gorgeous!! Everyone stood up as Alex made her way down the aisle with her father. Alex’s father gave her away to Jimmy, and tears just flushed to Jimmy’s eyes – it was the sweetest moment. He was so happy to be standing there with his gorgeous bride. After their first kiss, they walked down the aisle as friends and family cheered for them! WE LOVE LOVE!!

It was time to party and celebrate the newlyweds!! Chris Marino of Limelight Entertainment brought the music and lifted the energy off the floor as everyone danced and had an amazing time! All who attended the wedding had a great time celebrating with the couple and danced the night away!! Alex and Jimmy even shared a cigar smoke with Alex’s family outside to end their beautiful night. It was awesome
