Alex and Joe paid attention to their details and color scheme when choosing what they wanted to showcase at their dream wedding. Yellow was the accent color for the flowers and cake. Gold was another accent color on the sword, uniform, vases, and cake stand. They went with yellow artificial flowers, matte white vases with gold details to compliment the cake stand, and Army Sword.     “The Oval Room at The Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel met all of our requirements. In 2017 I took Joseph to Peru for the first time. We stayed at the Gran Hotel Bolivar in Lima. This hotel was built in 1921 and shares interior architectural details with the Plaza Hotel in New York City and the Oval Room at The Berkeley Hotel. In 2019 I proposed to Joseph in Lima, this time we stayed at the Lima Country Club. I reserved the Dom Perignon Suite, the proposal took place over the suite’s balcony which overlooks the golf course, one of the most romantic views of Lima. To this date, nobody else has proposed in that spot. The entrance of the hotel is a half-circle colonnade where the suite’s balcony rests. The Oval Room’s balcony resembles the style of the balcony where I proposed.” – Alex on his proposal to his groom. “Joseph’s favorite part was having fun with the guests and the cake cutting.
