Kristin and Andrew hosted their Spring Wedding at Renault Winery. This picturesque winery is located on acres of land with tons of photographic opportunities and locations. This is a spectacular venue to explore different sceneries or just run along the vineyard of grapes as our couple did!
What was the most anticipated moment of your wedding day?
“The first look was amazing; Andrew was really excited about this moment! Also, watching Kristin walk down the aisle.”
Getting ready with Kristin was so much fun! She picked out the cutest getting-ready outfits for her and her girls. They each had on flower comfy pants with a personalized bridesmaid top. Kristin’s wedding gown was STUNNING!!! It was a two-piece Wtoo by Watters wedding skirt and corset top that she fell in love with at Bridal Garden while dress shopping. She seriously looked like she stepped out of a bridal magazine! Her shoes were a classic sparkly silver Betsey Johnson wedge heel. They looked very comfortable. Kristen had her hair styled by Kelly McCormick, who created a half-up-half-down do for her. The loose pieces in the front framed the face very nicely. Her makeup artist, Laura Giordano, styled her makeup with beautiful bold smokey eyes and big lashes. Kristen looked so beautiful! Andrew wore a Tommy Hilfiger blue suit with a gray vest underneath to match his groomsmen. “Andrew is not big on tuxedos and overly formal suits. He really wanted to keep it fun and stylish.” – Kristen commented. And that he did! He looked so handsome!
Let’s talk about the details!
Photographing details is one of our favorite parts of the day! We love the attention to detail and how each piece was thought out. Their details were so lovely, with shades of blush and tons of greeny. Their florist Carole Humenchuk of Joyful Bouquets, did a fantastic job with their florals! Kristin and Andrew commented, “Our florist was a miracle worker! We are both not very good at explaining our ideas in detail. So I am still amazed that our florist was able to take our descriptions and made the flowers absolute beautiful and beyond our expectations.”
They did not exaggerate when talking about what an amazing job their florist did. Kristen’s bouquet and flower details at her wedding were absolutely breathtaking! Everything flowed so nicely with the architecture of Renault Winery. The couple had mason jars filled with florals dangling from their ceremony arch, and the space was just lined with barrels and florals all throughout the grounds. “We made the welcome sign and seating chart from ideas we found on Etsy and Pinterest. We also stained and made the table numbers. It was definitely a group effort in that we had help from our family and friends. We had an amazing florist that took our ideas and went above and beyond our expectations. Same with our baker and the cake by The Bake Works. We decided to do metal straws as favors with “To Have and To Sip” etched on them with a paper tag on it with “A&K 5/31/2021″.” – Kristin shared.
What they had to say about their wedding day:
“We loved the style of the Vineyard Ballroom as it was originally laid out, so we really did not have to add much. It was a bonus that the dusty rose color scheme we had worked so well with the room’s rustic wood beams and layout. The ceremony space was so beautiful, so we only had to add a few flowers and petals down the aisle. Finally, we told our florist about our hanging mason jar idea on the arbor, and she made our vision into a reality.”
Wedding advice from Kristen and Andrew:
“Use all the resources you possibly can, i.e., friends and family members who have recently been married, for help on small details that you wouldn’t think of.”
Congratulations to Kristin and Andrew! Thank you so much for having Limelight Entertainment capture your wedding memories and for DJing your party. We had so much fun celebrating this day with the two of you!
